The Village just received the 2023 Modern Calendar with the bulk collection dates along with the regular pickup schedule on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. You will find it under the Garbage/Recycling button on the front page. It is also located under the Important Links Tab in the Document Library section. Modern mailed a flyer to all residents which you should have received February 1st with the calendar as well as other important information. The American Red Cross will be holding a blood drive on Monday, April 24th, at the Middleport Fire Hall from 12 pm to 5 pm. You can schedule an appointment by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS or by visiting RedCrossBlood.org.

The Middleport Fire Department is having a Breakfast with Santa and Basket Raffle on Sunday, December 11, 2022, from 8 am to 1 pm. Breakfast includes all you can eat pancakes, eggs, sausage, coffee, milk, and orange juice. The cost is $8 for adults, $6 for children ages 5 to 12, and FREE for children under age 4.

The Clute-Phillips Post 938 American Legion will be holding its Veteran’s Day ceremony on Friday, November 11, 2022, at the Village Commons located on the corner of Park Avenue and Main Street at 11 a.m. The Boy Scouts will follow with their flag retirement ceremony.
