2025 Village Election
If you are interested in running for a position on the Village Board, there are petitions available at the Village Clerk’s office. The election this year is for the mayor’s seat and two trustee’s seats. They are all two-year positions.
January 2025 Bulk Garbage Pickup
Bulk garbage pickup for January will be on Wednesday, January 15th. As a reminder, Modern will only pick up three items outside of your cart.

Overnight Parking Ban
The overnight parking ban will be enforced from Sunday, December 1, 2024, through Sunday, April 6, 2025. There is no parking on Village streets from 3 a.m. to 6 a.m. to allow for snow removal.
